“Sorry about the blood in your mouth. I wish it was mine”

There’s only one God, and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that.

It’s A Terrible Life (2)

Forget Hookman, Azazel, Dick Roman, vampires, ghouls, Lilith, Bloody Mary, Hell, Alastair, even Lucifer himself; in 149 episodes nothing has disturbed me quite as much as the sight of Dean settling contentedly behind the wheel of a Prius.

[ It was more than that. ]: Remember how we launched this site four days ago and included this in our about page:

From our ABOUT page:

We recognize that due to the prevalence of fandom bullying on this subject, some fans feel uncomfortable leaving comments in public places with their name on them. If you would like to submit an anonymous comment made on another site, whether it…

As I recall nowhere does the project say it’s speaking for “fandom”. Especially just “tumblr fandom”. It’s betting, and it’s a bet, just as using the “silent majority” always is, that by maintaining a “middle ground” it does represent the majority of Supernatural “viewers”. That is what the future of the show depends on. Not just a handful of noisy fans on tumblr. Sorry to say. Extreme fans prone to fighting on either side are not what keeps this show afloat.

And as I said before, that Operation Trenchcoat post used threatening rhetoric, “This is a counter attack. We’re coming!”, and yes, it did say you were going over the writers heads to get the CW to change storylines. Whether you did it our not has no relevance to the post at hand. What matters is that the introduction post listed it as “Our objective”. And the first 400 posts were met with “YAY! This is awesome!” and “I’m in 100%”. It’s painfully obvious there’s a bias in the tumblr SPN fandom. But Silent Majority isn’t looking to be about tumblr fandom. It’s looking out for the future of the show. Think of them as Mr. Coach giving a pep talk: “I know you can do better”. There is nothing “painfully stupid” about that. Only that it’s being met by responses like yours that call them “total douchebags” and “self-entitled morons”. Classy, by the way. Real classy.

You know you could always just use your Tumblr Savior and ignore it, like we did during the first half of Season 7 when Cas fans were bitching about how bad the show was. But somehow it sounds like this kind of thing is fun for you. Bullying a project you’re not interested in. I can’t imagine why.

Uh, it calls itself the “majority”. Do I need to give you the definition of the word? Because, yes, this project is most certainly claiming to speak for most people. Moreso, it’s claiming to speak for every single person who isn’t voicing an opinion, and it’s just simply not true.

Also, the campaign originated from spn-gossip and the original discussion involves plenty of Cas/ship hate and discussion on how to manipulate Tumblr into supporting, so yeah. Thanks but no thanks.
